Town of Avon | Outreach Coordinator
The Town of Avon seeks qualified applicants for an Outreach Coordinator for the Council on Aging. The Outreach Coordinator serves as an advocate for senior citizens and is responsible for providing professional counsel, information, referrals and follow-up to elders and their families on a variety of issues. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in human services. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communications skills as the position requires considerable interaction with the public. General office skills, to include Microsoft Office proficiency, are required. Must be willing to obtain SHINE certification from the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Must have a valid driver's license. The salary range is $22.97 to $27.45 per hour.
