Social Services Coordinator
The Town of Franklin (population 33,000) is seeking compassionate and resourceful candidates for a full-time Social Services Coordinator to join our team at the Franklin Senior Center.
Reporting to the Department Head, the Social Services Coordinator provides direct and professional social work services, supporting residents with access to social benefit programs, health services, housing resources, and other vital community services.
Key responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, identifying appropriate services, and serving as an advocate for the overall well-being of Franklin residents. The Coordinator plays a critical role in connecting individuals with local, state, and federal resources, such as nutrition programs, transportation, health services, social support, and recreational opportunities.
Additional duties involve participating in meetings with staff, vendors, and community partners, as well as assisting with grant preparation and management. The Coordinator also supports daily operations at the Senior Center and provides assistance to staff as needed.
